As a student of printmaking and book arts, I utilize the elements of design daily in my work---espcially in my artist's books and broadsides, which I have featured in this portfolio. Also included are a few prints that exemplify my style and some of my photographs that show the real-world compositions influencing my design work. My work often deals with childhood, nostalgia, family, and the elusiveness of memory. I will sometimes use old photographs as a jumping off point for my work, and I like collecting vintage imagery like old wallpaper samples. Several of my recent books have focused on my mother and explore my relationship with her. Click the thumbnails to see images of each piece.
