My Unborn Children

My Unborn Children is the solo music project of Talia Bromstad. Her first album under this name, Foolish, was released in January of 2008 and combines her different interests---book arts, printing, and music---into one cohesive product. The album was written and recorded by Bromstad over the course of two years. On it, she sings and plays the accordion, pedal steel guitar, glockenspiel, guitar, and piano. She also sings and plays the accordion in another band, Ice Cream Socialists.

Flagpole Magazine says "Foolish seems to demand a certain restraint, but if you're relaxed and in the mood for little love songs, it's just right."

The silk screened album packaging is made from recycled paper and includes a sewn-in booklet of liner notes that folds out to reveal a printed image of a flying Canada goose. You can read more about the album or buy it at CDBaby. Click the image below to take a tour of the packaging.
